Ashley has spent much of her life helping others. As a social worker, she has poured her heart into serving this community through her work with United Way, DCBS, and now West KY Allied. Her passion for people and her ability to bring comfort and guidance have been a source of strength for so many families in their hardest moments.

But even those who dedicate their lives to helping others can face struggles of their own. For Ashley, tragedy struck in a way that left her reeling. Suddenly, she and her young son were facing the frightening reality of homelessness. The roles were reversed, and instead of being the one offering help, she found herself in need of it.

When Ashley turned to HOPE Calloway, our team was ready to walk alongside her. With financial assistance and supportive guidance, we helped her secure a safe and stable home. That stability gave Ashley and her son the foundation they needed to begin healing and rebuilding. It gave them space to breathe again, and the reassurance that they weren’t alone.

Stability doesn’t mean life becomes easy overnight. It simply means that when difficulties come—and they always do—you have the right people and supports in place to help you through them. For Ashley, having that support has made all the difference.
