A Night on the Town is a great opportunity to learn more about how our community works together to fight homelessness. During the event you can visit information booths from many of our community partners who are fighting hunger and homelessness every day. Kids can visit the kid zone to hear stories, make a craft, and learn ways that even kids can help fight homelessness in our community. Listen to music and enjoy food from Mija’s Food Truck as you take in all the event has to offer.
Registration fee: $30 per team / $40 at the gate
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams in this event.
Rules and Regulations: All participants must be at least 14-years-old. Cornhole boards, bags, and score board will be provided. Teams may bring their own bags and boards for practice. Teams will be expected to keep their own score. Four teams will play simultaneously on two pre-set courts. Teams should not interfere with one another. This tournament will be double elimination. Bracket will be selected at random during a drawing held at 4:15 pm. Teams should arrive no later than 4:15 pm. Teams not present at the time of the drawing will be disqualified. Registration fees will not be returned. Tournament will follow American Cornhole Association Rules. Rules will be provided. Do you have a passion for ending homelessness? We need you to help us raise awareness about this very real dilemma that so many of our community members face every day. Becoming a “box dweller” is easy! Commit to raising money for the cause, attend ONE box dweller meeting, and show up on the night of the event! We will provide everything you need at the event.

Have no fear! It is much easier to raise $1,000 than you might think. We equip you with a Facebook fundraiser, which allows you to share the cause with your friends and family.
However, if for some reason you are not able to raise all of the funds, that’s okay. We are thankful for your involvement and any amount of money you are able to raise.
Like, Share, and Comment! Share everything we post on social media about A Night on the Town to your friends and followers. Also, plan to bring your phone on the night of the event. We encourage you to share pictures and livestream your experience as a box dweller!
A Night on the Town takes place during the hottest part of Kentucky summers. So make sure that you dress appropriately. We recommend shorts and a t-shirt. We will provide you with a snack bag and plenty of water during the event. Don’t forget your phone for social media blasts! Other than that, what do you need really? (I mean, come on… this is about the experience too!)
